Zain Family Dentistry wants every patient to be able to find information and reach us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page explains what we have done to make this website accessible and how to get help if something does not work for you.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is an ongoing effort rather than a finished job, and we review the site as we update it.

What we have done

  • Text and background colors are chosen to meet AA contrast levels.
  • Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a “Skip to main content” link at the top.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks so screen readers can move around them.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and form messages are announced to screen readers.
  • Images have text alternatives, and decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text can be enlarged with your browser’s zoom, and pages adapt to phones and tablets without sideways scrolling.
  • Buttons and links are sized for touch on small screens.
  • Animations are reduced for visitors who ask their device for less motion.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site come from other companies, and we cannot fully control how accessible they are:

  • The embedded Google Map. Our address is also written out in text on every page: 2880 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43204.
  • Online booking on Zocdoc. You can always book by calling us instead.
  • The payment calculator and estimate button from Cherry. If either is hard to use, call us and we will go through payment options with you.
  • The security check on the appointment form. It usually needs no action from you. If it gets in your way, please call us and we will take your request by phone.
